Used for the treatment of the following fungal infections: 1) Fungal infections of the skin, hair, scalp, heels, groin, and nails; 2) Acute and recurrent Candida infections of the vagina; 3) Mucosal candidiasis, such as oral mucosa, throat, pharyngeal mucosa, bronchial and lung infections, and Candida infections in the urinary tract; 4) Systemic candidiasis, which spreads throughout the body and to other organs such as the peritoneum, pericardium, lungs, urinary tract, and bloodstream; 5) Fungal infections of the meninges; 6) Fungal infections in immunocompromised patients.
